Young adulthood is a time of immense growth, change, and possibility. It's when we start to figure out who we are and what we want out of life. But let's be real - it can also be a time of major overwhelm and uncertainty. That's where the TBLS Life Skills Programs for Young Adults come in.
Life skills are the tools we need to navigate the ups and downs of adulthood with confidence and resilience. They're the foundation for living independently, building strong relationships, and achieving our goals. According to a recent study, over half of young adults have only a medium level of these crucial skills. That's why life skills education is so important for setting young people up for success.

The key life skills students need to help them navigate the road to independence are not typically taught in a classroom. These include skills like organization, healthy eating, goal setting, effective study habits, stress reduction, money management, and self-motivation.
Without these, students can easily lose their way. With them, students build a sense of competence, confidence, and direction. TBLS's Life Skills Programs for Young Adults is organized into six chapters that help to make transitions easier and dramatically increase a student’s chances for success in school and beyond.
Chapter One: Will show students how to enhance their self-confidence with the recognition that they already have what it takes to succeed.
Chapter Two: Identifies any educational, practical, and/or personal resources that your students could benefit from.
Chapter 3: Will help your students manage their day-to-day life with tools for organization, time management, and creating a workable budget.

Chapter Four: Students will identify their particular type(s) of intelligence and learning style and employ methods for best utilizing their strengths.
Chapter Five: A Healthier You will give students tips on how to get and stay healthy, manage stress, and stay motivated.
Chapter Six: Looking toward the future, this section will help students assess their progress, imagine a better future for themselves, and create a plan of action to make that future a reality.
